Part of the Havergal College 2020 Strategic Plan was to build new additions onto two of their campus buildings, one of which is the Upper School. This addition will be LEED Gold Certified and provide a significant expansion to the rear of the school that will include a re-imaged outdoor courtyard that faces the ravine.  The design of the courtyard is integrated with the architecture to support outdoor learning, expose students to healthier living, and provide an opportunity to connect to nature.  It has also been designed to provide a place for quiet contemplation.  High quality paving, wall materials and plant material have been chosen to be in keeping with the character of the existing campus landscape and buildings.
